Welcome to the page of our restaurant, Bistrot l’Esplanade, located in Colomiers, where we serve simple and delicious dishes.
Ilan, our Chef, is committed to featuring fresh and local ingredients on the menu. He also regularly offers vegetarian and gluten-free dishes to cater to our diverse clientele. Originally from Réunion Island, the Chef loves working with seafood, which he complements with high-quality products from local producers. I’m thinking, for example, of the Japanese-style trout tataki, currently on the menu.
The Chef’s life journey has also allowed him to explore vegetarian and gluten-free cuisine. He draws inspiration from this to create delicious pastries, but I’ll stop there... Come and discover these surprises during your next visit with us.

Because a picture is worth a thousand words
Currently, spring is in full swing at the Esplanade where we offer you a selection of 4 starters, 4 main courses, and 4 desserts "à la Carte".
For example, Pyrenees trout tartare with a variety of green asparagus as a starter followed by confit pork belly from South-West, sautéed new potatoes and oyster mushrooms, sweet and sour mustard sauce
Originally from the enchanting island of La Réunion, Ilan Thénor, the Chef du bistrot l’Esplanade, draws extensively from the treasures of "his" cuisine to compose the restaurant's menu. "As the chef of the restaurant, I try to offer a harmonious, modern, and traditional menu," he says.
Falling in love with cooking, "since I was 13," watching his parents behind the stove, Ilan greatly appreciates the taste values of his island while admitting that French cuisine is still his favorite. He finds his inspiration in his childhood memories and culinary discoveries, offering a gastronomic experience rich in flavors.
So don't be surprised, during your tasting at Bistrot l’Esplanade, if your desires to travel come back with every bite...
How can we not mention the violet when talking about gastronomy in Toulouse?
It is indeed not rare to find in some of the recipes of our Cuisine, violets from our producer Hélène Vié.
The collective of 5 producers located in the Tarn, the Haute Garonne, the Aude and the Hérault delivers top quality eggs which are used in our pastries.
"Yummy, yummy menu" the little ones will say! And "Perfect" will exclaim the older ones! !
At the Bistrot l'Esplanade, we welcome the older children as well as the younger ones. Our kitchen concocts a dedicated menu for the little ones with adapted proportions :

No, of course not. We welcome all guests. If you are just passing through and not sleeping in our hotel, don't worry, we won't hold it against you ^^!
Similarly, if you just want to come as a neighbour of our establishment, you are also welcome.
Unlike the hotel, which is open 24 hours a day, the restaurant is open on weekday evenings for your dinners.
