Welcome to the page of our restaurant, the bistrot l'Esplanade, located in Colomiers, where we offer you simple and gourmet dishes.

Ilan, our Chef, does not hesitate to include in his menu fresh and local products. He also regularly offers vegetarian and gluten-free dishes to satisfy our customers.
Originally from Reunion Island, the Chef likes to work with sea products which he combines with the numerous products of our local producers. I am thinking, for example, of the trout steak with its marbled crust, glazed leeks and dried tomatoes, which is currently on the Menu.
He also likes to cook fish and does not hesitate to associate it with cold condiments, such as his "half-cooked trout and fennel saladine with sweet and sour ginger sauce"..

The Chef's life path has also enabled him to discover vegetarian and gluten-free cuisine. He has been inspired by this to create gourmet pastries, but I'll stop here, you'll discover these surprises the next time you visit us.

Currently, spring is in full swing at the Esplanade where we offer you a selection of 4 starters, 4 main courses, and 4 desserts "à la Carte".
For example, Pyrenees trout tartare with a variety of green asparagus as a starter followed by confit pork belly from South-West, sautéed new potatoes and oyster mushrooms, sweet and sour mustard sauce

Originally from the enchanting island of La Réunion, Ilan Thénor, the Chef du bistrot l’Esplanade, draws extensively from the treasures of "his" cuisine to compose the restaurant's menu. "As the chef of the restaurant, I try to offer a harmonious, modern, and traditional menu," he says.

Falling in love with cooking, "since I was 13," watching his parents behind the stove, Ilan greatly appreciates the taste values of his island while admitting that French cuisine is still his favorite. He finds his inspiration in his childhood memories and culinary discoveries, offering a gastronomic experience rich in flavors.

Is the restaurant only open to hotel guests?

No, of course not. We welcome all guests. If you are just passing through and not sleeping in our hotel, don't worry, we won't hold it against you ^^!
Similarly, if you just want to come as a neighbour of our establishment, you are also welcome.

Are you open every day?

Unlike the hotel, which is open 24 hours a day, the restaurant is open on weekday evenings for your dinners.

Do you offer vegetarian catering?

Yes, we work on our menus to offer at least one vegetarian starter, one vegetarian main course and one vegetarian dessert.
